ଆସୁଛି ଆଉ ଏକ ଲଘୁଚାପ। ମେ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ସପ୍ତାହରେ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ଲଘୁଚାପ ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ଲଘୁଚାପ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବା ନେଇ ଆକଳନ କରିଛି ଗ୍ଲୋବାଲ ଫୋରକାଷ୍ଟ ସିଷ୍ଟମ ବା ଜିଏଫଏସ। ଆକଳନ ଅନୁସାରେ ମେ ୧୧ରୁ ୧୫ ତାରିଖ ବେଳକୁ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ-ପୂର୍ବ-ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗର ଏବଂ ତା ଆଖପାଖ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଏକ ଘୁର୍ଣ୍ଣିବଳୟ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇପାରେ। ପରେ ତାହା ଘନୀଭୂତ ହୋଇ ଲଘୁଚାପର ରୂପ ନେବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମୟରେ ତାହା ଅଧିକା ଘନୀଭୂତ ହୋଇ ସାଇକ୍ଲୋ ଜେନିସିସର ରୂପ ନେବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଥିବା ଆକଳନ କରିଛି ଜିଏଫଏସ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏନେଇ ଭାରତୀୟ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ କୌଣସି ସୂଚନା ମିଳିନାହିଁ।...ତେବେ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞଙ୍କ କହିବା ହେଉଛି, ମେ 20 ତାରିଖ ଭିତରେ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗର କିମ୍ବା ଆରବ ସାଗରରେ ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିବଳୟ ହେବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ତେବେ ତାହା ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମୟରେ ଲଘୁଚାପ ଏବଂ ବାତ୍ୟାର ରୂପ ନେବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ନେଇ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନଠୁ ଆକଳନ କରିହେବନାହିଁ।

A fresh low-pressure system is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal during the second week of May, as per the Global Forecast System (GFS). Between May 11 and 15, a cyclonic circulation may develop over the southeast Bay and adjoining areas, which could intensify into a low-pressure system and possibly lead to cyclogenesis. However, the India Meteorological Department has not issued any official confirmation yet. Weather experts also indicate that a circulation may form over the Bay of Bengal or Arabian Sea by May 20, but it remains too early to predict whether it will intensify into a cyclone.
